This is a Lock and Spin game that is triggered at random. Regular symbols will begin to lock into place on the reels, and it is also possible that Golden Disc symbols lock into place instead of regular symbols. The reels stop spinning once 8 to 15 Golden Discs have locked into place on the reels, these will then reveal one regular symbol that will replace all of the Golden Discs and guarantees a win.

A DJ booth in a throbbing nightclub is the setting for Hardwell. The reels are made up of neon style cherries, lemons, oranges, plums and lemons as well as headphones, decks and speakers. There’s also a wild that can land on reels 2 and 4 only and replace all other symbols apart from the bonus.

The visuals are crisply done and the high energy soundtrack matches the theme nicely. The range of extras isn’t wide but offers plenty of potential, especially the Hardwell Bonus feature. We weren’t really familiar with the work of Hardwell when we first opened up this slot.
