Vegas Odds
Marc-Andre Fleury (7-3-0, 1.71 GAA, .935 SV%, 2 SO) at Philipp Grubauer (9-3-0, 1.67 GAA, .936 SV%, 2 SO)
Fleury was on the short end – a 3-2 loss – of that 11-hour outdoor odyssey at Lake Tahoe in Stateline, Nev., Saturday. While he could probably use a little bit of a breather, G Robin Lehner did not travel for the outdoor game and missed a fifth consecutive game due to an upper-body injury. So, Fleury is projected to face the Avs yet again. MAF has faced Colorado in three straight starts, losing two. However, in those games, he has a stellar 2.02 GAA and .936 SV%, which are right in line with his overall numbers. The difference is that the VGK offense has provided him with just five total goals in this three outings.
Grubauer has locked it down against the Golden Knights. His only loss in three starts against Vegas was Valentine’s Day when his offense showed him no love in a 1-0 loss. He is 2-1-0 with a 1.68 GAA and .939 SV% against the Golden Knights this season, including 27 saves in Saturday’s outdoor game.

Golden Knights at Avalanche: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Avalanche 3, Golden Knights 2
Money line (ML)
The AVALANCHE (-140) are a decent play on home ice, although this one could really go either way. Both clubs have received tremendous goaltending when facing each other. While it’s not going out on a limb by predicting the same exact score as Saturday’s tilt, that’s how low-scoring and tight these games have been. There is no reason to get cute and predict something crazy. We’ll get defense and a close game with the home side at a slight advantage.

Against the spread (ATS)
The Avalanche -1.5 (+195) are a tempting play as Fleury could be a little gassed after doing the heavy lifting with Lehner still on the shelf. That’s the only reason a puck like play on Colorado is worth a look. The best bet is to PASS, however.
Over/Under (O/U)
The UNDER 5.5 (-140) is the way to go, although the books have made it a little less attractive with some added juice. The Under has cashed in the first three head-to-head outings with a total of 11 goals over those contests. So, why stop thumping the Under now?

The Vegas Golden Knights (14-4-1) visit the San Jose Sharks (8-10-2) Friday. Puck drop for the budding rivalry is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. ET at SAP Center. Below, we analyze the Golden Knights-Sharks odds and lines, with NHL picks and predictions.
Vegas enters on a 4-game win streak, including back-to-back overtime victories. The Golden Knights recently beat the Minnesota Wild 5-1 Wednesday at home and lead the West Division by one point over the St. Louis Blues.
San Jose was shut out 4-0 Wednesday, splitting a two-game home series vs. the Colorado Avalanche. The Sharks are in the midst of a seven-game homestand, which they opened 1-3 and were outscored 19-14 in the first four contests. They are seventh in the West, one point ahead of the last-place Anaheim Ducks and 11 points behind the Golden Knights.

Money line: Golden Knights -200 (bet $200 to win $100) Sharks +175 (bet $100 to win $175)Against the spread/ATS: Golden Knights -1.5 (+125) Sharks +1.5 (-155)Over/Under: 6 (O: -120 U: +100)Golden Knights at Sharks: Projected starting goalies
Marc-Andre Fleury (11-3-0, 1.71 GAA, .939 SV%, 3 SO) vs. Martin Jones (7-6-1, 3.72 GAA, .884 SV%)
Fleury has started 10 consecutive games since G Robin Lehner (3-1-1, 2.96, .890) has been sidelined with an upper-body injury. “Flower” is on a 4-game win streak, recently beating the visiting Minnesota Wild 5-1 Wednesday when he stopped 36 of 37 shots. The 3-time Stanley Cup champion is 1-0 vs. the Sharks this season, yielding just one goal against 27 shots in a 3-1 road victory in mid-February.
Jones was in net for San Jose’s last two games, surrendering six Colorado goals on 73 shots. He started the Sharks’ one game against the Golden Knights this season – the 3-1 loss to Fleury – and yielded one goal in each period while turning back 26 shots. The eight-year veteran went 0-2 vs. the Knights last season with a 4.80 GAA and .862 SV%.

Golden Knights at Sharks: Odds, lines, predictions and picks
Prediction
Golden Knights 4, Sharks 1
Money line (ML)
Back VEGAS (-200) with a HALF-UNIT wager. I prefer not to bet money line favorites higher than -180, but the Knights are rolling and worth the heavy juice.
The Knights allow 2.11 goals per game to rank second in the league, while the Sharks yield 3.80 goals per game to rank 30th.
Offensively, the Knights score 3.21 goals per game to rank 10th, compared to the Sharks’ 2.75 goals per game (20th).
Plus, the Knights are 4-2-0 on the road and 7-3 overall in their last 10. The Sharks are 2-4-0 at home and 4-5-1 overall in their last 10.

Against the spread (ATS)
Bet another HALF-UNIT on VEGAS (-1.5, +125). Only 1 game in the last 5 meetings between these two was decided by one goal. In the last 10, three games were decided by one goal.
The worry is that the Knights are on the road and feature a below-.500 ATS mark.
ATS records: Golden Knights 8-11 Sharks 10-10
Over/Under (O/U)
UNDER 6 (+100) is the way to go. The Knights and Sharks played to a 3-1 final the last time they faced off … and with the same tenders in net.
The Under is 5-0 in Fleury’s five road starts this season, while he features a 1.19 road GAA.
If the line drops to 5.5, this becomes a HALF-UNIT play.
O/U: Golden Knights 10-9 Sharks 12-8
Note: There is no STRONGEST PLAY – 1½ times your usual wager – on this card.
